Bob Harvey Roofing is licensed by the Utah State Department of Professional Licensing for all three types of roofing. We are also certified by the manufacturers of roofing materials including CertainTeed, Duro-Last and Johns Manville. Our employees are trained and certified to include the Master Shingle Applicator Wizard designation.
We are bi-lingual, we speak English and we speak “Insurance.” Those are two different languages and often intimidate people new to them. “Insurance” is especially intimidating because not understanding the language leaves you confused mentally and can also affect you financially. We’ve worked with insurance companies for decades and understand the “language”they speak and translate that into a benefit for you.
Bob Harvey: Having a father and a grandfather who were roofers you can imagine why I am here. I have been in the roofing industry since I was 12 years old and have been full-time in the industry since 1973. I have built two successful roofing companies because I long ago learned that a life-long customer is of more value to me, and I am of more value to them, than finding a new customer every day. I am a two-time past president of the Utah Roofing Contractor’s Association and I understand all aspects of commercial and residential roofing.
I do have a life outside of roofing and I love to do things around water. We boat in the summers and I love to snorkel and SCUBA dive when I am at the ocean. I love warm places when it is cold and I love to ride ATVs in the mountains around my home in Morgan County. I grew up in Washington Terrace and attended Bonneville High School. A couple of years ago I served as the Chairman of the Milton Roundup, it was a big deal. If you didn’t know, Milton is north of Morgan.
Kyle Harvey: I am a fourth-generation roofer and I do everything from scheduling and giving estimates to overseeing projects from start to finish. I think it is important to build relationships with customers face to face so they are comfortable having us at their homes. I love having the world as my office and being outside meeting people everyday as I answer questions and provide the best performing roofing systems available.
I spend a lot of my non-work time camping and vacationing with my family. I have been a baseball player for most of my life but recently retired the glove and I am finishing up my Bachelor of Arts in Professional Sales at Weber State.
Pam Sampson: I like everything to be as smooth and seamless as possible in my interactions with our customers. As the office manager I know the value of a “no headache project” so I do everything I can to help reduce the stress in your life. My goal is to make it so you don’t even know we are there. I enjoy the positive energy at Bob Harvey Roofing and love working for someone I trust.
In my off time I enjoy gardening and yard work. I also like water skiing and traveling. I graduated from BYU with a degree in Psychology and use those skills in getting things done as promptly and pleasantly as possible.
Mike Beck: I am the professional fix-it-all guy. I have been repairing roofs for 25 years and I have seen just about everything that is possible with a roof. I try to explain exactly what is happening on your roof so you understand what we need to do. I take pride in leaving your home and yard cleaner that when I got there.
I grew up in Roy and now live in Ogden and I love fishing and hunting. I enjoy working at Bob Harvey Roofing because the high standard of work is always enforced and I know that quality is an important part of this business.
John Mecham: I am the lead foreman at Bob Harvey Roofing. I have more than 20 years of roofing experience and you can rest assured I will build you a good roof at an honest price. My goal is to leave you happy with our work. I know that the best advertising is word of mouth and that referrals from a job well done is where work continues to come from. I enjoy working here because Bob takes care of us. He’s a great guy and this is a great company.
One of my most exciting adventures was skydiving and I would love to do it again. Family time is also an important part of my life. I love to go four wheeling in the mountains love camping and hunting. I try to be positive and use my knowledge to take care of you and your roof.
